Your First Appointment
From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is to make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported in every aspect of your oral health and overall well-being.
As a new patient, you will receive advanced digital x-rays, a comprehensive oral health assessment, an oral cancer screening, and a thorough exam.
We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.

Plan Ahead & Be Prepared
Your first appointment will typically take 45–90 minutes.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time to get settled before your appointment.
Before your visit, we'll send you digital patient forms by text message. Please complete them in advance, including uploading your insurance information if applicable.
If needed, please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment.

Meet Your Dental Team
Depending on the nature of your appointment, you will meet with one or more of our dental professionals who will walk you through what to expect at your appointment.

Exam, Diagnosis & Treatment
During your first exam, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Take x-rays of your teeth and mouth
Your dentist will discuss the results of your x-rays with you, share recommendations based on your individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.
If it's relevant to your personal situation, we will introduce you to our Cavity Prevention Plan, which uses Curodont™ Repair Fluoride Plus, a non-invasive, drill-free treatment to stop early-stage cavities from progressing further and even reverse them.
First exam appointments typically take 45-90 minutes.
