What is Essential Dental Plan?
Essential Dental Plan is a subscription-based discount dental plan. Local participating providers have agreed to offer plan members reduced rates for specific services at their offices, based on the plan's fee schedule. To take advantage of these discounts, you need to join by submitting your enrollment details and paying a low annual fee. The discounts are applied during service, and you pay the office directly for all treatments.
Essential Dental Plan is not insurance and has no limits or maximums. There are no claim forms or waiting periods for immediate services. You and your enrolled family members can use the plan as often as needed.

How much does membership cost?
Essential Dental Plan is intended to be cost-effective and will usually cover its own costs with just a single visit to your dental office.
The current fees associated with Essential Dental Plan are:
- Individual: $99.00 per year
- Additional Member(s): $50.00 per year (per person)
Note: Your annual subscription will automatically renew every 12 months unless you choose to disable auto-renewal. We will notify you at least 30 days before the renewal date and send a reminder 7 days prior. Certain plans might offer a two-year subscription option. Essential Dental Plan is accepted at a growing community of participating office locations across the United States. A list of participating offices can be found online or by calling (877) 545-4188, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.

How soon can I use my membership?
Essential Dental Plan has no waiting periods, allowing you to start using your membership immediately after enrolling. You can use your benefits as often as needed during your membership. Just mention your membership when visiting your participating Great Hill Dental Partners dentist. The staff will verify your eligibility and apply any available plan discounts to your treatment plan.

How frequently can I use my membership?
Unlike dental insurance plans that are often complicated with red tape, Essential Dental Plan has no maximum limits or deductibles, allowing you to use your membership as frequently as your provider permits.

Essential Dental Plan is an annual subscription that automatically renews every 12 months unless you choose to opt out. We will notify you at least 30 days before your renewal date and send a reminder 7 days earlier.
