Sumra S. Khan, DMD

Dr. Sumra S. Khan chose the oral healthcare field based on her understanding of how vitally oral health is connected to overall health and well-being. She values the opportunity to contribute not only to healthier teeth, but to healthier lives for her patients. Seeing patients’ confidence and smiles at the end of treatment is especially rewarding.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology from Boston University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She completed her General Practice Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Mass General Hospital, and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and later earned her Fellowship in General Dentistry from Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Continuing education is a priority, and she remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements through ongoing study, professional journals, and participation in regional and national meetings.

In the Community & At Home

Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, she has called the greater Boston area home since 2008. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, traveling, reading, and exploring new foods.

Community involvement is also important to her, and she actively gives back through volunteer work and charitable contributions.
